I have moved…to ONEderland. For you skinny rhymes-with-witches, Onederland is that near-mythical place where your weight starts with the number 1. My goal was to make it by the Ides of March (I can’t help myself), and I did it a few days early! 🙂 This drawing could have been sooner or better, but I’ve got a separate project now taking up all my free time.

I really like this portrait. It shows progress; she looks human and not creepy. She does not, however, look like me. And that was the original aim. The last portrait was also supposed to be me. Drawing yourself is *hard.* And I’m over it for now, because that level of microscopic analysis of your facial details gets old quickly. 😉

Meet Rufus, my mixed media penguin. Named after a character in the DUMB but funny show “Norsemen.”

Improving my drawing of faces, that is. Nothing I can do about my actual face.  🙂

Mom called the pup by singing a rousing rendition of “Kayo, Kay-a-a-o, daylight come and me wan’ go home.” It comes to mind whenever I see a chow chow.

Preheat non-stick skillet over medium high, melt butter. Crack egg, cook one minute. Cover, turn off heat, let stand one and a half minutes. Enjoy!

Stay tuned for praying mantis!

They say hindsight is 20/20. I can’t wait for 2020 to be in hindsight!

Still room to grow, but way better!
